I did not expected that it was great!!

I had knowledge about those political satires.. First was the famous Borat! that tackles political issues between the USA and Russia.. And here in the Philippines, the very best example of a political satire here is, actually I forgot the title.. But the protagonists and antagonists of the movie were famous political people here..

But this one right here in the left-side of this post, that kicked Benjamin Button's ass, stole the spotlight from the star-studded cast of Revolutionary Road (starring Academy Best-Actress Kate Winslet) and erased the hopes of a Best Picture-Best Supporting Actor award combo of The Dark Knight (the late Heath Ledger won the latter award, post-humously), is more that just a political satire, the once-thought underdog of the Academy Awards, critically acclaimed Slumdog Millionare, the only movie nominated for Best Picture in the Academy Awards that didn't show any signs of a Hollywood star, even in the production staff. This is a story of a young boy from India, who grew up in the slum areas of the country that won in a famed game-show.. Jamal, the main actor of the story witnessed how scarcity ruled over the lands of India, how the war between the Hindus and Muslims affected the lives of the people especially the little children, as the nonsense war killed many lives.. Jamal portrayed the while Hindu community of India..

I'll give a two-thumbs up for this movie, oh no, four-thumbs up including the thumbs in my feet.. The production was so good and story is kinda touching your heart.. Dont underestimate this guys.. Dont be fooled by the handsome looks of Brad Pitt or by your curiousity why that old man became a young boy.. Watch this..

Kobe Bryant Kicks Knicks' Butts

Kobe Bryant at the Lakers-Knicks postgame press conference

Now who says he's out of the picture? Who says that he's already lethargic to do such things like this? Well you better watch this video right here: Kobe scores 61 at MSG(especially at 1:24, you say traveling? Nah).

This is Kobe's 3rd game of his career that he scored 60+ (1st: 62 against Dallas, 2nd: that historical 81 against Toronto), and his 24th game where he produced 40+.

He really knew that he has to produce a huge number on this game, especially that Andrew Bynum Hey, Kobe was the reason of Bynum's injury, isn't it? Oh, that was the payment.. LOL

Kobe has already made 18 pts. after the first period and was 34 at the half. DID HE TOOK SOME KIND OF STEROIDS OR SOMETHING BEFORE THE GAME?

Meanwihle, Spanish center Pau Gasol notched in 31pts. and 14 boards for the Lakers. Trevor Ariza had a 13pt. off-the-bench performance (as what he's doing always). The Knicks were led by Al Harrington with 24pts. and David Lee notched a double-double with 22 markers and grabbed 12 rebounds

In the PBASim League (a fantasy basketball sim league I joined a few months ago, my team is Harbour Centre Portmasters), I survived a sweep against the powerhouse San Miguel Beermen. Right now the Beermen enjoys a 2-1 lead over my team at the continuing Best-of-7 PBASim Playoffs, South Conference Quarter Finals. My Harbour Centre suffered two consecutive blow-outs against them and stole Game 3 in my place. To upset this kind team, comprised of Fil-Shams (Kelly Williams, Gabe Norwood, Robert Pressey, Terrell Theophille) is not as easy as eating a piece of cake, but, IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE.
